About SRQ Tennis

Tennis, learned the way it's actually played.

Players improve fastest when practice looks like real tennis and progress is something they can see. Most of the hour is live ball — reading the ball, making decisions — not hitting off a basket.

Who we are

A coaching program, not a club

SRQ Tennis is built on one idea: accuracy that only works off a feed falls apart in a match. We coach the contact — center of the strings and a square racket face — because that's the part that holds up. And we track it. When a player goes from 6 out of 10 to a target one week to 8 out of 10 the next, that's not a compliment. That's a fact they can carry onto a match court.

  • Groups capped at six players so everyone gets real reps and feedback
  • Public parks — no club membership required
  • Text Coach Michael directly and usually hear back the same day

“I want players to leave a session knowing exactly what they got better at.”

Every player is different, so we meet them where they are — first racquet or competitive edge. Confidence that holds up under pressure is built on evidence, not empty praise.

Why Families Choose Us

Tennis done differently

Real balls, real decisions, and progress you can measure. Coaching built on how players actually get better — the Six Pillars behind every SRQ Tennis session.

Accuracy Before Everything

Placement before power. Eight out of ten to the target before we push the pace. That's how strokes actually hold up in a match.

01

Live Ball Is the Method

Most court time is real balls and real decisions, not feeding from a basket. That's the skill that holds up when a match gets tight.

02

Technique Is Geometry

We coach the contact, not the choreography. Center contact and a square racket face are the two things that actually carry over to match play.

03

Confidence Is Built

Empty praise doesn't build confidence. Numbers do. Last week 6 out of 10, today 8 out of 10. That's not a compliment — it's a fact.

04

Conditioning in Order

Joint mobility, then muscle activation, then high intensity. The right order matches the player's stage so bodies last a season, not a week.

05

Channel the Fire

Competitive frustration is fuel. We teach a Between-Point Routine so players harness it instead of leaking it between points.
